Congratulations to the Felician Sisters,

Volunteers, and Benefactors

On August 11th, 2016, together with the Felician sisters, St. Ann is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the founding of the Felician Outreach Center in Kingstree. This is a celebration of the many volunteers who responded out of love to meet the needs of the community of Kingstree. These volunteers have come from the different local church communities who provided their time, talents, and treasures. The leadership of the Sisters is highly commendable. They are very welcoming to everyone who is in need. The volunteers recognize the effort of the Felician Sisters, that is why they share the gifts of love to the poor who avail themselves to what the Center could provide.

The Felician Sisters will be celebrating their presence and ministry in serving the People of God of Williamsburg county for 25 years on THURSDAY,

AUGUST 11, 2016 AT 6 PM. Bishop Robert Giglielmone will join us at St. Ann Church to celebrate with a Mass of Thanksgiving. After the Mass the Felician Center Board of Directors will hold a reception and short program at 1000 Thorne Avenue for all who will be attending from near and far. Many out of town guests and Sisters will be attending and your help may be needed. Contact Noreen Steward of Deloris Scott to find out how you can help out.

Bags for Children Summer Feeding Program are distributed to those who signed up.  The Felician Center is in need of boxes of cereal, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly during the summer months.  Other funds are also needed to restock the food pantry throughout the summertime.  There are parishioners who continue to bless the Felician Center with their monthly and annual contributions for our food programs.  We are truly grateful.  Perhaps others would like to support this ministry with their resources.

All clients of the food pantry are interviewed and fit in a scale to determine their needs.  Your HELP is needed and appreciated.
